The ATI TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) is a standardized exam used for admissions into nursing and allied health programs in the U.S. It assesses a student’s academic readiness in four key areas: 1. Reading (45 questions, 55 minutes) – Measures reading comprehension and information analysis. 2. Mathematics (38 questions, 57 minutes) – Covers arithmetic, algebra, and data interpretation. 3. Science (50 questions, 60 minutes) – Focuses on human anatomy, physiology, chemistry, and biology. 4. English and Language Usage (37 questions, 37 minutes) – Assesses grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.
Scoring & Passing • Scores range from 0-100%, with different nursing programs setting their own passing requirements. • Competitive programs typically require 70-80% or higher.
Receiving Your Scores • Online Exams (Remote Proctored or Testing Center): Scores are usually available within 48 hours in your ATI Testing account (www.atitesting.com). Some testing centers may display an on-screen score summary immediately after the test. • In-Person Testing Centers: Some locations may provide a printed copy of your scores, but this is not guaranteed.
